The G16 Prototype is a special variation of the G16 shape, developed during the process of dialing in the final mold. While it wasn’t the direction Mike ultimately chose for the G16, it stood out enough to become its own limited-release shape. The Faceshaver has an old school shape hand made by Mike Schneider. Its nose is slightly squared, while the tail has a traditional shape.
Compared to the standard G16, the Prototype features steeper kicks, while the regular G16 is smoother and more mellow. This gives the Prototype a more responsive, crisp feel.
