Five Luck Fingerboard Deck - The Descent

Five Luck Fingerboard Deck - The Descent

Five Luck was officially launched in 2015, but the owner, Burt Tunstall, had been honing his craft by creating hundreds of fingerboard decks before even considering selling them. Burt's hard work and dedication led to the development of the Five Luck molds, which have been praised to the highest degree by the fingerboarding community. His wood dyes are in a similar light; the brightness and saturation of their veneers are some of the best!

The Fu mold was designed in 2016 as a high-performance, overall medium shape. Fu decks feature a nose that is slightly steeper and longer than the tail. It also features their standard Five Luck concave which has been constructed around a standard length wheelbase. Both beginners and riders of advanced skill will feel comfy on a Fu right away.

The Tech 5 is Burt's pride and joy of the bunch. It's been called the most functional short shape in fingerboarding, and is Five Luck's most popular mold. The kicks are angled identically (with nose slightly longer) and are both modeled after the tail from my Fu mold sketches. The wheelbase was adjusted by decimal points to achieve absolute perfection. The Street is the Popsicle shape, while the Standard is Boxy.
